Keep it Clean
Content will not be accepted if it contains offensive language (of any kind) and/or shows really bad stuff like: animal abuse, drug abuse, under-age drinking and smoking, bomb making, anything showing someone getting physically hurt, and other actions that cross the line. That stuff isn’t cool or funny, it’s not allowed, and it will be reported immediately to local law enforcement officials.
Respect Yourself & Others
Fireflymag.com is a place to share your life, but in such a manner that your privacy and that of others is respected. Don’t submit photos, videos or writings that your friends, family or mere acquaintances would be horrified by or upset about. Would you like someone to do that to you? Didn’t think so.
Submit Your Stuff Only
Fireflymag.com is a site where you can feature your creative writings, videos, photos, comments, etc. It’s not a place to submit the work of others without their permission. Leave it up to them to process their own submissions and leave the copyrighted and (legally) protected pieces alone. Rule of thumb: If it’s not yours…well, it’s not yours.
Participate – Don’t Hate
We encourage free speech and defend everyone's right to express unpopular points of view. But we don't permit hate speech (speech which attacks or demeans a group based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, geographic status, school associations, and sexual orientation/gender identity).

In order to submit stuff, we have to get your contact information. Why? Because without it, somebody could pretend they’re you and post stuff that’s not yours. This could put you at risk. We will not send you any offers, advertisements, newsletters, etc., just because we have your contact information. We will not share your contact information with anyone outside of fireflymag.com.
